I started disabling accounts that I thought were useless...like Twitter and My Space. My Space...well that speaks for itself. Twitter? Seriously I really didn't think I had anything so important to say that people needed to be notified the moment I said it. So those are gone. Now I have this Blog that no one will ever read (and I can't quite blame them)...BORING. I also have FaceBook. That one I keep as it really does keep me connected to many people that I love. I also use it quite frequently to plant and harvest a number of different crops on FarmVille. FarmVille is a FaceBook application that according to my husband is a three hour-a day-time suck. What does he have against me harvesting my summer squash...or my blueberries? Geez! This morning he stepped out of the bedroom and asked me what crops I had going...WOW a step in the right direction. The sad part is I was actually excited to tell him.
Today I will de-Christmas my home. This is the latest that we have stayed in Collins Christmas land as I threw my back out last weekend and couldn't walk for two days...(No I haven't turned 40 yet)...and this week has been a busy time for reasons that shall remain MUM for a while. In any case for as much as I love Christmas, I am more than ready to get things put away and get back into the reality of the next 11 months that do not allow me to play Nat King Cole or Bing Crosby Christmas music (which feels like a punishment within itself). Plus my Christmas tree smells like pee. It is the weirdest thing...my husband and I kept thinking our cat was being a bigger brat than normal and not using her litter box in a meaningful way. Then we smelled the tree. EEEWWWW. Since when does a dying Christmas tree smell like pee?
